Internet TV through Telfy Installation

We have just arrived in Quesada in the last 3 weeks and we have Telfy Internet and Telephone installed on a package that provides 10Mb, which was left by the last owner but just changed the name on the billing with no contract.

They did have a small box next to their TV but they have taken that with them to their new home. We believe it was an IPTV Box??

Can someone please recommend how we now get UK TV through the internet, without having the satellite dish installed at a one off cost.

We are just after basic TV back in the UK BBC1, BBC 2, ITV, Channel 4 & 5.

Any advice or support would be appreciated.

You can get a box from go satellite in Quesada. The box is 120 euros and 20 euros a month, all through the internet

Ask telfy about tv package ?

I would advice just getting Internet from Telfy. I would check whether or not your living in Fybre optic area, and if you are, it doesnt cost much to upgrade to it. Then try Smartech shop at the top of the hill coming out of Benijofa towards Quesada, next to the garage. Ask their advice for what TV service you want. I went for a MAG 256 box, which cost about 100E one off payment, plus about 160E per year for them to transmit TV programmes to it. It has about 1500 films, more being added every day, plus about 530 TV programs, which include regional TV like ITV Granada,Wales, Yorkshire etc, all the Sky Film and Sport channels, BT Sports, and all the foreign Sports channels around the world, even showing Saturday 15:00hrs football. You can even watch every box set ever made, including Game of Thrones.

Are smartech a re broadcaster then?

Try dream Box for your tv , cost 150€ for bo BUT NO ONGOING COSTS!!!

My update - It is with great pleasure to inform you all that after speaking with Doctor Digital we decided to buy an IPTV STB (Set-Top-Box) MAG 254/255 after receiving a demonstration with explanation.

You leave the shop with your goods and set it up yourself to your Ethernet cable to your router. Connect the HDMI cable and power up your IPTV box. A fantastic bit of kit with so many channels and films for a one off price and 20€ a month no contract. Catchup TV, Videoclub, Radio Listing, 7 day programme Guide, Box sets etc to name but a few.
