Waste disposal

i need to dispose of an old patio table that’s broken but too big to fit in the car........ any recommendations on what to do with it, can I just leave it next to the green bins ??

Telephone 965 306 807 and they will arrange collection from next to the bins. It used to be phone on Wednesday and they would collect on Thursday but may have changed.

Yes, totally free (well, included in your rubbish collection tax but no other fee to pay).

I had a corner bath to dispose of , saw the nice lady on weds in the council offices in Quesada , told to put it outside the community entrance [ NOT BY THE BINS ..!! ] at 8pm for collection thurs morning early am , finally collected Friday morning at 10am ...!!!!!!!!!

But won't the neighbourhood watch people name and shame, without knowing it has been left by the bins legitimately?

Can moan all they like , instructions from the local authorities takes presidence over a bunch of moaning minis ...!!!.. lol

I did actually write on it in marker pen and LARGE [ so the short sighted amongst them could,nt miss it ..!! ] lettering that it was to collected by the council contractors .

People have left household goods by the Bins for at least 20years to my knowledge and provided things that others may need or want. The Council collecting for free is a relatively new operation. It's a pity the UK doesn't follow suit then maybe there wouldn't be so much fly tipping.
