We have had a gas water heater for 8 years and prefer it to an electric one
More economical as you only use the gas when you want hot water. A gas bottle lasts 2 of us for showers for 6 - 8 weeks.
The flue needs to be on at outside wall and you will need a gas certified engineer to install it.
The best one to buy is with battery operated automatic ignition.
The taps filters always need to be clean as if they get clogged , there will not be enough water pressure to ignite the gas.
Happy in the sun.

Gas is best, but the bottles usually run out when you are covered in lather.!!!!!!!

We use gas for instant hot water and cooking. Unit is installed on outside wall. We always keep an extra bottle outside in a plastic storage unit. Only takes a minute to change bottles.
