Sunday Opening

Sunday Opening

Postby GDW21 » Mon Apr 30, 2018 8:48 pm

I understand a lot of supermarkets are closed on Sunday, I was just wondering if there might be anywhere open this Sunday in the Dona Pepa area to purchase some essential items as we take the keys to our property this Sunday.

Why not buy your essentials on Saturday?

Los canales is open all day Sunday. Bit more expensive than normal supermarkets but has everything you need. It's near Jolly's bar.

I don’t think Canales is open all day Sunday. It closes at either 1 or 2

Thanks for your reply, it'll be late afternoon we're looking at, so very helpful information.

Rather than rushing about shopping why not bring some snacks from home and buy a couple of meal deals at Boots in the airport which includes large bottles of water and go out for dinner in the evening (plenty of places open for meals in DP), you will then be set up until morning when the shops open. That's what we do whenever we arrive on Sunday or any day if we arrive late afternoon/evening.

Just a thought.
