I´ve never heard of or seen that.
In Spain there is paella and paella, it ain´t all good.
For me Goyo´s have the best paella in Quesada and surrounds.Closed Sunday.
The best paella I have found anywhere on my travels is served at Charlotte in Benejuzar.
Estanguet Restaurant on the CV855 between La Marina and Elche, also serves excellent paella. Don´t miss the liver and garlic as a starter, absolutely delicious.
Why not try Arroz con Costra a traditional Elche dish.

The Nugolat on CV855 is a very god choice for Paella must be good gets around 500 people in on Saturdays and Sundays

Yes, there are quite a few nice Spanish restaurants on that road.
