Advice please

Postby PhilPen » Tue May 29, 2018 12:08 pm

We have a special anniversary coming up in July and we would like to celebrate by visiting a nice restaurant. I have looked at the information on this site but I can't see anything about high quality restaurants, eg Michelin starred. Does anyone know of such and even better have you visited and what was it like?
I have looked on Trip Advisor as well but am a little cautious about accurate reviews. Any help would be much appreciated.
TIA.

Consecha on the road from Beniofar to algorfar is excellent. We had our golden wedding celebration there and couldn't fault it

Nice but it’s a whole galaxy from Michelin Starred.

La Brisa (used to be Cryselios(sp)) is very nice and has a good ambience. Not exactly Michelin starred but had a lovely meal and good service there a while back if you're looking for something local.

You'd need to go to Alicante for the Michelin starred ones and there's also La Finca just outside Elche which is probably the nearest.

If you want to celebrate in style stay overnight in la esconida. Fabulous place and never had a better meal with the best service. Expensive but worth it.
