Thai green and red curry

Thai green and red curry

Looking for recommendations. Apart from Maritaos Kitchen by the golf course which does a fantastic Thai curry. Are there any other local restaurants which do a good Thai curry as well.

We live over near Villamartin, so Maritaos Kitchen 2 and Banana Tree 2 are our local Thai restaurants.
I've never tried the Thai curry in the Banana Tree, but most of the other Thai dishes there are quite good so maybe you should give the one in Quesada a try.

There's also another Asian restaurant just up the road from the Banana Tree (called something like Yaho?) that I think is mainly Japanese, but they used to do some Thai food as well.

Pete.

For an authentic Thai meal try Ayutthaya Thai in Guadamar Near the Iberdrola office overlooking the N332 roundabout.

I can also recommend the Nankin in Quesada near to where Clapton’s used to be. They have many choices on their set menu and the red and green curries are very nice. I also like Maratao’s in La Marquesa but I think they only do one type of Thai Curry and I am not sure from the colour exactly which one it is. I am a bit colour blind though.
Finally, at Maratao’s they do Sweet & Sour Chicken - not on the set menu - for about 5 euros. They pour the sauce onto a sizzling plate and it tastes absolutely marvellous.

Yellow and Red Thai curry are good in the Banana Tree, but the Green is not.
