Tyres slashed overnight!

Please be aware that all 8 tyres were slashed on two cars in Calle Gerona last night. The cars were parked on the road by the small park which has the fitness equipment.
There were around 7 or 8 cars parked in a row and the vandal/vandals targeted cars one and three, for no apparent reason. It was not completely random as all tyres on each car were slashed and all now need to be replaced. We believe it happened some time after midnight.
I have no idea why people would cause such mindless damage to other people's cars?
Please be on the lookout in case these mindless individuals target more cars? Has anyone else had similar problems overnight?

What a mindless awful thing for somebody to do. Im so sorry for your trouble. Could have been any of us. Hope your insurance will cover the cost to replace the tyres.

It was not my car, but other owners. Apparently, the insurance does not cover it. It is strange, as you would think a vandal would stick to one side of the road and slash the tyres of various cars, rather than go round two cars slashing all the tyres on each.

Some years ago Cars in Monte Azul were targeted. Once they took off all the dust caps. Another time every other car had its side window smashed and things stolen like change that people keep for the trolleys. I did get up one morning and some idiot had been going from Villa to villa putting garden pots etc on the pavement and moving things like hoses and leaving in neighbours Gardens. Must have been on Drugs.

Having tried to cut a tyre in half for a dartboard surround and Only able to succeed with the use of electric power tools I am at a loss to understand what inconspicuous gadget they could have carried to inflict this sort of damage. Obviously mental or drunk though.

Thanks. The tyres seem to have been stabbed. I have my English car out here at the moment, with my Spanish car at the airport, and I have ‘run flats’. I hope that might be a deterrent.

Strange thing to say! Why would holiday makers,in particular, be walking around slashing tyres with a knife?
