Carrefours after sales service is very poor. We purchased everything elctrical from them for our new house, however as things started to go wrong very quickly they are not interested,stay away from them forelectrical goods.
Buy electrical goods from a electrical retailer who specialises.
Millar, Tien21, Euronics, Cadena Redder, all offer excellent after sales service.
If you want an amazing choice of electrical goods go to Media Markt at Zenia Boulevard, usually choice of 50 of everything to choose from. Mind blowing selection.

I agree - I won’t step through the door of Carrefour after my experiences with them. Terrible customer service when things go wrong.

Euronics for me, whether it is a toaster or a fridge freezer, good prices and very prompt with delivery and installation, (and removing any old appliances).

Thanks all, quick update;
We ended up buying them all from Media Market as the choice and cost were best overall.
IKEA was a real chore afterwards and left a 500 euro hole in the new bank account!

Thanks again all for your informative views
