Where to buy Small electrical goods

Where to buy Small electrical goods

Postby D4RN-L » Sat Jul 28, 2018 8:49 am

Morning guys, Happy Weekend!

We got our keys and spent our first night in Calle Pilar and I still can’t believe we did it!
Anyway, where’s best to buy kettle, iron, hairdryer, toaster?

Many thanks

Carrefor sell almost everything. That's where we were taken when we moved in. Lidos have special offers on non food items and their stuff is good quality.

Al campo. In la Xenia very good and massive selection. Also great after sales service.

Wow, quick replies as usual - thanks both.

Do you need a membership for Carrefor or can you just walk in?

No, no card needed. It’s a regular supermarket, large but just a supermarket.

Just walk in. It's a French supermarket.

We bought our kettle and toaster from the little electrical shop in the arcade bit just before Laurel's on Calle los Arcos, the JML shop, it's surprising what they have in there. The rest of our stuff we bought mostly from Al Campo at La Zenia, it's cheaper than Carrefour.

Do get a loyalty card in Carrefour before you buy anything, you then accumulate points on goods and petrol and every 3 months you get a voucher which you can then spend in Carrefour
