A nice Starbucks or Costa charging €3.50 for an Americano, and €4.00 for a slice of cake.

Nice to see how long they'd last, but having said that, there's nowt as strange as folk, so you probably would have some ejits with more money than sense, who would frequent such a place

Have you never seen the number of people who frequent Starbucks in Habeneras Shopping Centre? It's quite amazing, especially as there are a couple of nice little cafes on the top floor with decent coffee at 1/3 of the price.

Twenty odd years ago if you had said to your bank that you had an idea to open a chain of coffee shops in the UK and charge everyone 40% more than the exisiting "cafes" in the area. Then you will put out metal chairs outside so people could sit and drink their coffee even in October through to early April you would have been laughed at!

Another suggestion..
A pet food shop! Everyone seems to own a dog in Spain.
You could include a pet grooming parlour. Find a unit neat one of the vets!
Good luck.

From what loads of people on here have previously said they would like .... buy/hire a minibus and start a regular bus service around Quesada/to the airport/to the beach.

There are a number of vets and Pet stores around Quesada and near Consum in Dona Pepa is the large Madagascar store which sell all pet food and has a grooming parlour and lots more. They also have grooming parlours in some of the vets. So certainly not a real need for any others.
