New ikea opening!

Hi guys there is a New ikea opening at habanarus in torry! I heard it was opening at end of august?? Anyone know anything different??

It seems more like an ordering/collection point than a full-on store.

Hi yeh just been informed its a pick up place.. you order then pick up in torry.. not that exciting really! But suppose it saves a drive down to murcia lol

They’d be hard pressed to fit an IKEA into Habaneras, unless it’s a Tardis

Had heard it was gonna be outside behind zara... it used to be a big chinese shop.. could easily fit it there. But no its not to be! Lol

Don't even say anything about it being a collection point ..just some where to design your kitchen, bathroom or bedroom...much the same as in Ikea main shops...

What a shame it's not a proper store - would have saved me a few trips to Murcia. My Oracle indoors will be pleased though - she'd be gutted if robbed of her Murcia shopping days

It's a kitchen/bathroom/furniture design centre. You can order stuff from there and it will be delivered to your home and you can't collect from there.
Bit like a catalogue shop.
It's located opposite Zara Home by the escalators.
Habaneras was busy today. Nice to see considering it was going downhill a bit after Zenia Boulevard opened.
Another new shop is the last outlet on the right as you enter which used to be a clothes shop.
Now a sort of para farmacia and sells creams, perfumes, toiletries, shaving stuff, washing powder and loads of other things. Quite reasonably priced for everything. Lots of special offers as well.
C&A have now got all their winter range in so if you are after puffa jackets, jumpers etc they are all in now.

Pity it’s not in that new big grey building behind The Gym. I’d rather have IKEA there than yet another Chinese bazaar!
