I would seriously try looking at IKEA in Murcia, I have been trying to source a kitchen for some time, but the prices quoted are ridiculous.

Hi
Thanks for the reply. Did I read on this forum that there was going to be an IKEA shop in the area. I know it wasn't going to be a showroom but could maybe get an idea of costings before a trip to Murcia

There's an IKEA planning shop in the Habaneras centre.

We used Kosta Kitchens in Torrevieja. Couldn’t fault them. Excellent customer service too.

Dreading it, to be honest. We went to 5 different kitchen places. Two of them I'd have had to take out a mortgage with the price they quoted. One did our neighbours kitchen and they had a nightmare with bits missing, wrong handles, cracked tops etc so we avoided them. The other two seemed very good and we chose the one that was pretty close to us and have had good reports about them.
Not that cheap but we are having new built in microwave, built in cooker, dishwasher, cooker hood that I won't keep banging my head on as well as the units.
Will let you know the name of the company and how it went.
(We have had to wait nearly 9 weeks since ordering because the factory workshop closed down all of August).
