Residency

Residency

Can anyone tell me how and where to apply for residency. We have a property in La Herrada, Los Montesinos. Also would like to know about healthcare. We are both pensioners and have temporary SIP

It is not difficult---if you use a translator.

Residency.. half a day,
SIP, half a day,
padron 10 minutes..

I know, I know, some will say "save some money, do it yourself".. but it is not so easy.

I have basic Spanish and in normal ways it is enough.....But when we got our residency, they put the wrong address on it. We found out before we left the office, but they said they could not alter it there, we had to go right across Orihuela to the treasury department and change it there..

Without a translator we would have been stuffed...

.. an example...

Totally agree with mondo. Padron and SIP are easy enough but we used a company to get residencia for a family of four. Without them we would never have got the paperwork right. For the appointment at Elche police station we wouldn’t have made it past the reception desk without them and at that time had a basic level of Spanish. Good luck.

Unica ICA Fiscal Advisory Service.
Tel 966 79 51 82 - ask for charlotte, the owner. Or e-mail [email protected]. Their office is on urb La Marina. I would highly recommended her.
