Wave check !

I love to snorkel and one of my favorite beaches at the moment is Alicante beach by the Melia Hotel, it’s about a 45 minute drive for me to get there....I’ve done the local beaches around Guardamar so many times now and Alicante beach has so much diversity there that interesting fish appear on the sea bed...fascinating...however on many occasions I get there and the waves are crashing in which is a no go for me..

Is there anyone resident on the frontline appartments in Alicante that could check the condition of the water for me before I set off....?

I’ve tried searching for webcams to no avail...

Drove there yesterday and came straight home again...

Could you please give some details of where you snorkel round Guardamar?
I’ve not found anywhere yet worth a visit

There's a rocky outcrop at the end of La Mata beach that was fantastic last year (the end where the market used to be). I came across so much sea life. I even came across 2 scorpion fish that scared the hell out of me! But I tried this year and it was too rough. From what I could see it had really over grown this year as well. Waiting to go back and have a nice flat calm day.
