It's got many names this Restaurant Italiano referring to the owner, but it's the best Italian Restaurant around, just try it and you'll agree.

Agree the food is great pity about the owner though. I have always found him to be very rude and not at all customer friendly. We don't go there any more.

We call it the fat Italian's. I prefer Fratellis in Benijofar for a authentic Italian. I think the one mentioned depends on the mood of the owner as far as the ambience is concerned.

We affectionately know him as the ‘Grumpy Italian’ but, we have never known him to be rude, dour maybe but, never rude.

His name is Claudio. It’s a lovely restaurant. Quirky decor and good food. He’s a very nice man. He runs it with his younger wife who is Russian. It’s covered in Bouganvillea and is on the corner of the strip that has La Taberna and Di Tapas.
We have always refered to it as ‘Grumpy Italian’ because Claudio really looks grumpy, but he isn’t.

Judge this place on its food which is excellent Claudia is a one off yes but he's OK if you speak to him and Lydia is very nice. Best Calzone I've had anywhere and the dolce vita dessert is amazing. Just give it a try if you can get in its always busy. ? I wonder why.
