Anyone know why it has closed? Always seemed very busy.

Hmm, I’m not so sure Jan, they declared a ‘temporary closure’ but gave no reason nor suggested a planned re-opening date. To me, that sounds final

Hopefully someone will take it over as it's a small bar and always popular. It gave a choice for the area as it did have, on certain evenings, entertainment and the other bars around there are all good in their own way but it was so nice to have different bars doing different things.I know my adult kids enjoyed El Toro as it was always a fun bar. It is nice to have variety.

it got too much for the woman. Her husband works away and she couldnt manage. Pity Steve couldnt return but he is doing well in el Toro Negro thank goodness. He and his family are lovely and El Toro was nicer when they had it.
