Lawyer for inheritance / transferring ownership of property

I have seen recommendations for lawyers for house conveyancing and SGM appears to be well recommended. Has anyone had to deal with bereavement and transferring property to the sole remaining spouse? I would welcome any recommendations.

When I lost my wife in 2014 I used Sol Med solicitors based in Los Balcones.
Every phone call is answered, every email replied to with excellent explanations.
They have a Scottish lady working there who helped me through all the way, she is unbelievably helpful and patient.
I took several quotations from other solicitors, these ranged from 3500 to 6000 based upon an apartment valued at app 75000e.
Solmed were at the lower end of the quotes.

I lost my wife in 2006, I used the lawyers that dealt with my property, Aroca sequer and associados in torrevieja. The only minor problem I had was with my bank, it took several trips to get everything transferred to my name, however the bank did inform me that they pass on all the relevant information to their head office, and apparently that was where the problems were coming from. A letter directly to the head office accompanied by a photocopy of the death certificate, and everything was soon sorted.

Silvia and her staff at SGM are fantastic. They specialise in all aspects of property law, including inheritance and bereavement where there’s a property involved. I haven’t had to deal with this sad aspect of life, so I can’t speak from personal experience, but I am sure you will find no better advice or help, at a fair price, than with them.
