Last night we went to the Pines Bar and Restaurant in Benijofar for the first time We had the set menu 14.95 euros for 3 courses and bottle of wine with tapas to start. The choice was varied and the quality outstanding The staff very friendly and efficient We will certainly be going back

Have you ever been to Parque Nacional El Hondo near Catral? It's a lovely place for young children with boardwalks out over the salt lakes with lots of birds to see and an educational centre at the entrance. Entrance is free and there is a covered picnic area as well.

It's just past San Felipe Neri but our favourite route from Quesada is to go on the CV860 from Rojales past San Fulgencio, on to the CV855 then left on the CV851 and right around the lake. It is really picturesque, with lots of palm farms etc en route.

Hi ya and morning all :-)

The right hand side (newer side) of the Don Carlos has a nice kids play area on the top floor where you can have lunch and a drink and watch the kids play.

Have a good day all
