I asked the same question last week. Was told don’t listen to the hype on their advert so i decided not to bother. I’m using the heating on the aircon and so far it’s warm enough.

I thought the advert looked really good although the heaters are expensive to buy. It was suggested that i buy a convection heater at Leroy merlin for 19.99 which would be just as good but a lot cheaper to buy.

Akí do the €19.99 convector heaters. I bought one recently from the Akí in Habaneras shopping centre, and its very good, choice of wattage settings and thermostatic control

When they first came out in 2010 I bought 8 at a cost of 1000 euros and got them installed throughout my house. Yes they add warmth albeit a very dry heat but are expensive to run. We had a 1500 watt, 6 x 800 watt and one 600 watt. Full on 16 hours a day in winter cost 200 euros for a week so after that we started using heat from air con and just these for background heat for bathrooms and hall. They were also okay for morning heat using with a timer. Not sure how efficient they are in Spain with the type of home we have here with no insulation.

Have you thought about storage heaters especially if you are having them on for long periods?

KVA solar in almoradi sell them and will even fit them for you. Fluent in english too.

Hi
Install an air con with minimum 6 kw output and a cop higher than 5. It will give you 5 kw heat for 1 kw electricity. The money you save on the electricity bill will probably pay the air con in a couple of years.

Hi, If you have a fire place get a log fire fitted we have one now three months logs less than 70€ and warms all the property. Advice if you take it DO not go down the gas fire way low cost yes but high in water and not good for the property or you.
