SIP CARD -He say NO !

Maybe he wasn't actually the chap who deals with the SIP cards? The lady works for the Torreviaja Salud and processed ours through Orihuela (for some reason).
Not seen a man in there before.
If you ask at reception then they will tell you what days she is there.
Plus, if you have a reason for seeing a doctor before then, just present your EHIC at the medical centre and show them your S1 (just in case) and they will arrange an appointment for you.

The first thing we did was to check in Spanish if he was there for SIP cards etc,he replied in English that he was (we then started to show him the paperwork).

Yes it will be best to check with reception when the Lady is there,though the chap did say someone was there Monday/Wednesday/Friday.


Hopefully this is just a blip,and normal service (the Lady) resumes as soon as possible.

I had all the right paperwork a few weeks ago when applying for residency and was knocked back. Now this. Is it possible they’re making things difficult because they don’t know if there is a brexit deal yet? What will happen if there’s no deal?

We took our docs down and she said after four weeks go and pick up our cards. When we got there the same woman said she wanted our marriage certificate. We’ve taken this in and we have to go back to collect, hopefully, our cards. No time was given tho. She took a copy of our cert. it was not appostilled.

You can go to the social security in Torrevieja and get a ticket and wait. Very efficient system.

When my husband went to get his, he first saw the man. He did process his SIP, but when we went back to collect it, we saw the woman, who told us he should have been issued with a temporary card, which he wasn’t. So if I was you, I would go back and try to catch the woman. She is always so helpful.

So according to the Lady receptionist,the blond haired woman who's usually there is on holiday.

There's another woman and the man who've been coming in lately,the receptionist thinks it's the woman who could well be in on Wednesday ?


Let's see what happens,perhaps the nice stand-in Lady might take pity on us ?
