Lol .

I used to sell quality chinese machines and engines , they make some great product , so why do the stores here sell rubbish, it does them no favours ..!!

Blimey you've bought a lot of things from the chinese stores'!

You have to be careful.. we have bought loads of stuff at the Chinos and still have most of them..

We avoid electrical stuff though and some tools.. but if you are careful they are fine for lots of things.

..We are a bit over stuffed with them around here though.... I just hope they staff them with people who can smile... it would make a nice change..

I have to say that the ones running the small Chino on El Raso are very cheerful and helpful, especially considering the excessive hours they put in.

Went here yesterday and I was quite impressed. Yes it has a lot of the same Chinese tat but it has a big range of things like bathroom stuff, crockery, kitchen accessories and a large diy section of screws, nails, drills etc. It wasn't completely stocked as the right hand side of the shop was partly empty but they had a small selection of clothes and more importantly, food stuff including frozen. Mainly essentials and alcohol, hopefully they will also install a fridge and stock milk, butter etc. And the staff seemed friendly, although it was their first day! ;)

Very handy to also have some essential food items, for those living up there, as they are quite cut off from the main supermarkets in this area and not everyone wants to get in the car for just a couple of bits.

As far as I know it's at the top of the Avenida del Aeropuerto, close to the Quesada Fitness Gym.

I´m thinking of starting a tourist train, you know, one of those Wally trolley things, to tour all the Chinese Bazaars around Quesada/Rojales/Benimar/Benijofar. It´ll be a day trip with a Wok lunch.
