Does anyone know if any of the local charity shops take larger items such as furniture; Table and chairs, sofas, beds, etc.

Easy horse care in Quesada. They have a website with details. If you call them they can arrange collection.

The same with Reachout who help the poor and homeless of Torrevieja and surrounding areas
Call 965 71 30 63 and they will arrange collection from you.
