tv sat signal

For the last two mornings at 11am we have lost our tv programs via sat. and humax box.This morning only for 15 minutes.The strange thing it also affected programs via our iptv box.BBC and ITV etc missing but some sky were available.Every thing appears normal now.Any suggestions what the problem may be.

Was told it’s to do with atmospheric conditions

Its to do with the position of the sun, relative to the satellite, at this time of year ...

Same thing with us, its just the satellites having a little playaround up there but immediately we think its our system

No such problems here either on Sky or Freesat boxes, same sun!!!

It also depends on the size of the receiving dish and therefore how much gain it has ... the larger - the more gain, as a rule ....

March and October every year. Same in the Middle East, just different satellites and different angles so different time of the day, late afternoon for us. Means I miss part of Cash In The Attic...
