Ex Professional Lead Guitar/Vocal looking to stand in/rehearse/jam/join band etc.
All styles from Jazz to blues to pop to heavy metal. I really enjoy country pickin'as a preference but anyting really.

There is a jamming session at JR club Quesada every Sunday afternoon starting at 4pm

Last time i went to one of these type of sessions... i waited 2 hours , before getting a chance to play Bass for 3 numbers .

ElMundo's in Benimar used to have a buzzing live music scene. Alas, those days are gone. Mostly Karaoke now. The nearest you get to live music is someone singing 'middle of the road' songs with a backing band known as a laptop!

Not quite correct 2 sheds.
The Archers , J.R's country club , and Casa Contenta all put live bands on .
Further along the N332 from Punta Prima to Cabo Roig and inland ( villamartin , La Florida and Los Dolces), there are many venues that are putting on live music / bands.
It appears that it's just the smaller Venues that use solo / backing track performers.

I'm sure you are correct. However I was merely talking about the scene in Benimar, which no longer has any decent live music to speak of.
