Road maps of Quesada area

Can anybody tell me the best place to buy road maps of the area ?

We got one from the tobacconist just off Avenida de las naciones - on the Rd chef zhan restaurant is. Attached is a close up of the Dona pepa area of the map if that helps.

Estate Agents often have them as well. Town Halls and Information Centres in otherAreas. Maps are better than Satnavs as they show essential facilities and interesting places to visit.

Thank you for the info Janjan. Yes I totally agree -satnav is ok but we need maps to plan our visits in advance to different urbanisations and to combine it with good dog walks !

Near to Johnson’s shop,there is a car rental place.
They have them: outside for free…

We were given these at the Municiple Centre (Town Hall) in Quesada. Just ask at the desk if they have any, they are free. Also available at Rojales Town Hall.

I tend to make a printout from google maps, AND use the satnav. Satnav is only as good as the map you have loaded. A while ago we had to find a house on the western outskirts of Montesinos, NONE of the backroads were on the stanav, it thought we were driving over fields.

Where a satnav scores, IMHO is getting you back home OUT of an unfamiliar area, and letting you see the roads ahead for shortcuts, back roads and dead ends. It means you can just randomly drive round sightseeing, thes press HOME and it gets you out.
