UK to Spain cash transfer

I’m not doubting you, just surprised. I’ve been with them over 3 years. I have them on my home screen. I just click to enter, type in the amount and then press “send money” then Go to my Barclays account, transfer money to TransferWise, press “I’ve sent this amount “ and it’s done. Never needed a code since reference code on very first transfer.

On a large amount, say £100,000 transfer for a house purchase, Transferwise is quoting £330 transfer fee but XE money transfer is quoting zero transfer fees. Has anyone any experience of using XE money transfer ?.

I would double check the exchange rate as they may be quoting a lower rate

May I ask what do you use to make the transfer PC, Ipad. Smartphone?

I-pad. and iPhone.

I use transferwise as well. I've never been asked for a code. I log in, using my username and password and that's it. My details are already saved and the only thing I have to enter is the security code on the back of my UK debit card, which I use to pay for the transfer. (Windows laptop)

Grief you have been robbed I use Moneycorp and always get not far off rate ,, no tranfer fee either,,

So, I think the question really is, How much money do you actually end up with when currency exchange rates offered and fees charged are both taken into account. I've found that mostly, you have to actually register with these companies in order to be able to see their exchange rates so without registering with multiple companies it's difficult to actually do meaningful comparisons.
