Returning goods

Hi, I have bought a fire that is inadequate and would like to return it to the shop. Are the rules for the return the same as the UK? Thanks

When you say inadequate do you mean it's too small to heat your room, or it's faulty? If it's faulty they should change it, or send it back for repairing if it's just not to your liking then they have no obligation to change it unless it's not been used and you return it within the time limit for a refund or exchange.

Normally you have 15 days to return things to the shop but must have the receipt. Good luck,

Thanks for your comments. I took it back and explained it made too much noise which was sufficient for them to refund my money.
