Alicante airport parking

Does anyone know how much it would cost to park in the multi-story car park at
Alicante Airport from 6pm Saturday until 12pm mid day Sunday (18 Hours).

€17. Use this siteand you can put in your dates and times etc and it comes up with the amount.
Quite expensive for the short term bit and the offers only kick in if you are using it for a few weeks (like pay for 2 weeks and then 1 euro a day for up to a month).

We parked in the long stay car park, about 50 yards from the terminal, for 5 days for 26 euros...

You can join the Aena club for free and get a discount on all your Alicante parking...

ticket at the barrier then go to the pay machine on return in my case after 18 hours.

Yes, that is the one I referenced. 17 euro and is P1.
If you just turn up it is more expensive. Book it online first and then pay when you return (don't hit the pay now button on the website).

Do you still drive up to the barrier at the multi-story car park and obtain an entry ticket?
Is there a dedicated parking area and a dedicated parking level? How do you pay for exit if you
have pre booked. Thanks in advance.

It's exactly the same. You still take a ticket and then pay at the machine on the way out. No dedicated parking area.
If you pay beforehand you still have to put your ticket in the pay machine and it will come up with zero to pay. If you haven't prepaid then you pay there and then.
It use number plate recognition.
