Advice on Architect Fee

Advice on Architect Fee

Postby Tracygrieve » Tue Apr 30, 2019 5:13 pm

Hi, I wonder if anyone can let me know (if willing and able) how much you paid for your architect project fee? We’re having a brick built shed in the garden, 3 m x 3 m with aluminium roof and door. I think it’s expensive compared to other things we’ve had done and wondered if anyone’s had a similar project done? Thanks in advance. It would be much appreciated.

Do you definitely need an architect for a shed in Quesada. I know we do in Torrevieja and it also had to be 5 mtrs from any wall on every side but not sure how much the architect would cost. For a garage conversion to a bedroom it was around 2K

The fee should be a % of the cost of the project which is set by the College of Architects in Alicante
Should get a Quote from Don Aluminio left side of this page he will organize an architect if need also the building license

thanks all. I have a very trustworthy builder, but wondered if any of you had actually had a shed built in the garden. We do need a license and it isn’t a minor work, so needs a project architect. I’ll try to find out the scale of fees set by the College of Architects.

Our builder negotiated with the architect, based on previous work and we’re VERY happy.

?? I wasn’t demanding to know, just curious if people were willing to share. It wasn’t a demand. That’s why I didn’t post what I had been quoted.
