What is considered a fair price for filing a tax return?

What is considered a fair price for filing a tax return?

Postby Roach » Fri May 10, 2019 1:12 pm

Just looking to see what others are charged by companies/solicitors etc for filing the annual tax return.

Is it easy to change from one company to another?

Any recommendations?

Thanks.

We pay non res tax and Matt at Villas Amarillas takes care of it. Just had an email to say there will be a change this year. Instead of receiving a bill from them in December, they will charge about 43 Euros per person per return in June and then the tax office will charge us directly for the tax in December. Last year, I think we paid an all inclusive charge of around 200 Euros. Hope this helps.

Interesting question. We paid €100 each with Sun Lawyers, must admit we are going to try and find someone cheaper for next year.

Hi, as far as I am aware you can complete the return online yourself there is a section for resident and non resident and costs approx. 51euro per person (Agencia Tributaria )

These do ours every year...£34.95 per PROPERTY, plus £12 per PERSON to present the forms, pay the tax and return the receipted copies to you, if you want them to do that.

Spanish Tax Forms are one of the most competitive for NON-resident tax returns, but they can't do Resident returns.

Ah...apologies...the OP didn't specify which one, and the answer from GrahamR went down the non-resident route.

I've been looking for quotes lately. For a simple basic return they vary from €30 - €180. Of course the more complex it becomes the price may go up. Because my 2 are more complicated I haven't decided yet. I may well go direct to hacienda as either way you have to search and supply all the information to just pass to them and fill it in. The €30 one is in Almoradí
