Guardamar sunbeds

Hi all. Can you tell me if there are any sunbeds at Guardamar beach yet?

I was there yesterday still no beds or beach bars.

Have checked today.still no sign of brollies, sun beds for hire, nor are there any beach snack bars. Someone said previously 15 th June but where has that info come from? Orihuela had problems one year as the council had not issued permits. It will do Guadamar a lot of harm if tourists, who do not all have their own equipment, cannot hire these essential facilities. In all the years I have been here, I have never know Guadamar to be without them at this time of year. I for one don't want to take all my visitors to Playa Flamenca!, Any further official news would help us all.

Most Owners do get their own Umbrellas and chairs. There are a lot of Hotels in Guardamar and when they start to get busy I expect the beds and umbrellas will appear. When we first started to come to Spain Guardamar sea front was one of those places that shut completely in the winter. One bar was open.

Guys on a side note, are there public toilets near the beach?

You don't find many Public Toilets in Spain. People use the Toilets in Bars and Restaurants. You dont have to buy anything. Just go in. Takes a bit of getting used to but needs must.
