Mosquito's and plants

Reading another post somebody mentioned that certain either attract or repel the dreaded MOSSIE ,l know that they are all part of living here but if there is anything I can plant that will help cutdown their visiting please let me know !!!

I hear they dislike lavender

They are not too keen on citrus plants or trees, hence the likes of citronella as a deterrent.

Where I live I'm surrounded by orange and lemon trees (= FREE fresh orange juice and lemon for G&T year round!) and here even seeing or hearing a mozzie is a rare enough event that it gets commented on.

Reproducing that in an Urb or more domestic environment could prove challenging though.

Hi for outside we planted rosemary and several lemon balm plants,inside fine grated lemon skin also rub lemon on window frames and doors works a treat!!
