Looking for restaurant where child can play

Looking for restaurant where child can play

Postby PhilipGilbert2016 » Mon May 27, 2019 11:59 am

Hi all, We have my 3 year old grandchild over here at the moment and we are looking for a nice restaurant in the area that has on site play facilities where we can supervise in turns while enjoying a nice meal. Any suggestions from seasoned grandparents would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Cooper's has a play area. Also an excellent menu with a choice of chips, boiled potatoes or mash instead of just chips or jacket potatoes like most places. Hunter's chicken, home made S&K pies, bbq ribs, giant burgers (home made), chilli con carne all highly recommended. Oh, and if you opt for the chips they are probably the best around.
The Don Carlos in town (above what used to be the Amsteleria) also has a children's play area.
TBH haven't seen many others although I'm sure there are others people can recommend.

JRs has a play area but they would need proper supervision as the pool is nearby and they would probably want a look at it

El Gusto in Benimar has a childrens play room. You can have a table infront of the playroom and keep an eye on your child.
Great food and service.

Lizarrán at Lo Marabú ( next to the block where Consum is) have an upstairs room which has a soft play area. You can go down to the bar to order your food and they will bring it up to you. So you can sit at a table and keep eye on your little one at the same time.

All the choices above are good
Lizarran has nice tapas and meals . We like the special burger meal. The little one may like the little tapas on French bread slices. Look at the instructions on the wall or board for pricing.

There is an Italian restaurant upstairs in the Zenia Boulavarde shopping centre with a huge play area accessible through the restaurant so the children can’t escape. We have never eaten there but our nephew has and thinks it is ideal for the children.
Next time you are over there shopping, go up the escalator and you will see it beside the Argentinian restaurant, check it out and see what you think.
Enjoy having your grandchildren with you.
Also, if going there, bring swimming suits for the kids to put on while they run through the fountain! Such fun.
