There seems to be building work being done at the front of the building, most noticeable is a new entrance ramp, presumably for disabled access.

Perhaps this means the restaurant is soon to re-open ... ?

Yes i did hear the owners were working towards reopening as their health is better
But wonder whether the old chef will be returning

Yep work is being done atm guy's.... to reopen the yellow rose of Texas.. hopefully done and dusted for feb 2020

Yep the old chef hes 47 years old!! lol (ie the owners are returning) as they are the chefs

Great news :) :) :)...so glad to hear this restaurant is reopening. I've really missed this place.

Hope all goes well with the work and may the health of the owners continue to get better.

...you could raze to the ground and rebuild in that timeframe , who are they using as builders …….?

The re opening is not due to any building work that is being done.. both the owners have had medical issues themselves then lost their father recently.. they simply now realise that life is not just about work work and work...

Then people will simply go eat elsewhere. Life is not all about this restaurant.
