Yes, sorry Omeprazole in UK is Losec, not Zantac.

My hubby swears blind nothing better then bicarbonate soda level teaspoon in a small glass of water in consum 58cents for a tub or €1.22 for a kilo!!

I know he did a lot of research writing it, and its presently being translated into Spanish for similar group in Spain who are applying for funding.
(Funding is done as a bit of a lottery in Spain and has to be voted for.)

Thank you so much Martin and others for all the info on this. I have almost constant stomach discomfort, but it's not like acid or burning - it's more discomfort/pain and gurgling directly after eating, and definitely can't bend down for at least 2 hours after eating. I wonder if it's possible it could be the Baretts syndrome - anyone any thoughts on this? Have been to docs - no tests, but was given omeprazole which I can't detect any help from. Much appreciated.
