does anyone know the Spanish equivalent of Gaviscon. Preferably chewy tablets but liquid will do.

They sell Gaviscon here in Spain.
Equivalent I believe is Almax Forte, chewy tablets and liquid. I have also seen Rennies here both tablets and liquid form

Thanks. I’ve had gaviscon here but I eat em like smarties and they are expensive so thought I’d see if there’s a generic version here.

If you suffer from heartburn or indigestion on a regular basis then you might have acid reflux. If you speak to your doctor then they might prescribe something more long term.
Omeprazole is available over the counter for very cheap (about 2.50 for a months supply) and you take one each morning which stops the acid building up (You can now buy it OTC in UK as Zantac but is, of course, far more expensive ). I wouldn't advise them long term unless your doctor says so.
Alternatively, Maalox is available but is quite expensive here. Much cheaper through Amazon including the delivery charge.
Almax is probably the best but is about the same price as Gaviscon.

Zantac (Ranitidine) and Omeprazole are different but both work well... my wife can´t take omeprazole but is okay with Ranitidine ..
However, she prefers Almax...

If you are regularly using antacids or have a lot of heartburn etc., don't ignore it and see your doctor!

My doctor prescribed Omeprazole for my heartburn years ago, it is simply marvellous.
Remember to take one every morning and you will never have need for Gaviscon or Rennies again.
