Car air conditioning

Anyone know of a garage in or around Quesada who refills the gas on vehicle air conditioning?

Most of them can, but check price as can vary widely... !!!

Many garages used to offer this service costing about 30 euros, if that. Regulations were tightened a couple if years ago, now garages offering this service have to be licensed, staff trained and certificated, all periodically checked and staff certificates kept up to date. To recoup this cost regassing now costs about 80 euros.

Can I ask if this would be the same to have the air con unit re gassed on my Motor Home

Depends if you mean the aircon on the vehicle side or the aircon on the accommodation side

Fair points Ginger,

I have a small leak in my system, but as a single gassing lasts for the year it is more economical to re-gas annually rather than the cost to repair the fault.

I recently had it done for this year & the engineer was telling me the cost of the gas has actually risen quite steeply in the last year, so that's another reason for the increase.

They are charging 70€ now but was on offer when I had it done at 50€.
