Can anyone recommend a specialist damp proof or similar company? There is a excessive amount of moisture in my house. I would need a company with a means of detecting what may be causing this?

is it rising damp or damp patches on walls above a meter in height from ground level?

If you are a handyman then you could solve the problem yourself. It just requires an electric drill with a 12 mm bit, and a gallon of silicone fluid and a funnel. Also, a day of effort....
