Just be aware that if you park anywhere with blue lines(bays) you have to pay. There will be a meter nearby to issue a ticket. Anywhere with white lines(bays) is free.

You can find some free on street parking but it is very rare. We booked ahead and got some parking in a private garage using the app. This particular car park is about 20 minutes walk from the old town, there is a nearer one but it is more expensive. The alternative is to use Rosa's tours as they go to Benidorm every day, they charge you 20 euros per person and you get there about 11 am and leave at about 5.30.

It costs about 10 euros per day but you can come and go as you please, the garage door opens with your phone, using the app.

There is free parking outside the bus station and then you can walk/taxi into town. Rosa Tours is still €10 pp return.

We park out of town and get a taxi to whatever hotel we are staying at. Its never been more than a tenner and gets you to the door

We use the free car park at the top and take a pleasant walk through the park down to the town, it doesn't take long. See screenshot.

Be careful they have just re designated some of the white lines to resident only parking and if you get towed its 100 euros plus taxi fare to pound!

Our friends parked on the white lined parking where they have always parked for years, but when they came back their car had been towed! The parking had been changed to Resident Parking but they had not seen the sign!!!
Trip to the pound at midnight and 100 euros fine.!!!

Hi Angela,

is it ok to leave the car there for a couple of days?

We dont mind paying, or walking so long as the car is safe.

Thanks
