Hi I've had same trouble with basil and mint looked for advice on the net and it said to make a mild washing up liquid and water then spray the leaf's both sides I couldn't believe how fast and well it works I do it once a week and not one single leaf as got nibbled!! When I need some I just rinse with cold running water.Brill good luck!

We bought expensive moth spray from the garden centre and now the moths turn up with knives and forks to eat the geraniums. So not sure moth spray works too well
