You can get champagne and lunch at most of them ...it's not a set lunch.

Thank you Dot, I thought it may be a special somewhere.
If the 4 ladies are interested in a champagne breakfast and they phone early enough tomorrow morning Plaza Diferente at Benimar may be able to fit them in.

I second that, which restaurant at The Marina Torreveija does a champagne lunch. Sounds perfect!

A lot of places, not only restaurants in Spain are closed on a Monday as Sunday is their busiest day when the Spanish Families go out on mass. Best to check.

Thanks Dot, well - we met for coffee at 10.30 and discussed our options whilst the thunder was roaming around outside and there were huge spots of rain on the patio. Eventually, one lady said she didn’t want to go to the beach, so the 3 of us went to La Marina, same restaurant as usual and we even had the same food as we normally have. Then we went to the beach, it rained a little, quite often, but we had a swim and read our books. It was a lovely day out - I just wanted to do something different for a change.
Now, what are we going to do tomorrow? Ha ha.
