I'm fairly certain your tongue is well embedded in your cheek mondo. We might not forget but he changes his mind every week as part of his special unique negotiating technique.
Seems like only last week that he was talking about looking after immigrants and expecting EU countries to do the same for UK expats. Then he and his Home Secretary come out with yet another monumental cracker of a policy which looks like competing with the Windrush disgusting fiasco.

Boris is far smarter than you give him credit for. He may bumble around ina shambolic clownish way, but make no mistake you dont get to be Lord Mayor of London and them PM by beig nothing short of politically astute.
Boris strategy is simple. Hes painting the EU as the awkward ones, and when Parliament starts, he will let the remainers dig a big hole which will enable him to paint them as anti-democracy and the enemy of the people, this is his plan B if if he has to call a GE.
As for speculation about remianers dragging the queen into this, it wont happen. If Boris loses a Vote of No Confidence, he CAN hang on. Ther is no legal or constitutional precedence compelling him to quit. If the Remainers go to the Queen, and ask her to sack him, she will call him t o the Palace, and then Bortis wil lexplain he is trying to complete the will of the peopel as expressed i na democratic vote three years ago, of which the remainer swhave tried to thwart. On that basis the Monarch woudl refuse absolutely to intervene, because a) Boris is doing nothing illegal, and b) after the lesson of 1640, no Monarch will flout the will of the people.
If he tries to Prorougue Parliment, its unlikely it can be stopped, and the nuclear option is to call a GE, because that closes dow Parliement in an unstoppable way. It is the Queens Perogative, ad MP's have no power directly to oppose it.
Boris will stay exactly in the limits of constitutional law and Parlimentary procedure. And thats his biggest weapon.

Theres a bit in the Bible somewhere . where it say you can tell a false prophet because none of his prophesies come true,
Nice quote that.
Coming to a free trade agreement with the EU should be "one of the easiest in human history.' Liam Fox, July 2017
'The day after we vote to leave, we hold all the cards and we can choose the path we want.' Michael Gove, April 2016
'Getting out of the EU can be quick and easy – the UK holds most of the cards.' John Redwood, July 2016
'What we’ve got to do as a government & as a'It is like threading the eye of a needle. If you have a good eye and a steady hand, it is easy enough,' David Davis
If we take a bit more of that approach, a bit more unity of purpose, we’ll get a great result out of Brexit. We’ll also unite the country.' Dominic Raab, June 2018
'Absolutely nobody is talking about threatening our place in the Single Market,' Daniel Hannan, May 2015

The 'Irish Problem' isnt a problem, except if you try and implement the Backstop, in which case it would drive a coach and horses through the Good Friday Agreement, and that would trigger off the Troubles again. o PM is going to do that., hence the backstop is a non starter. The DUP is never going to vote for it.
The mad thing about this is Sinn Fien, who hold 7 seats in UK Parliament. They would be opposed to the Backstop, and should in theory be rabid brexiteers, because it would help thier cause for a united ireland. So why they remain abstentionists is baffling.
I have no idea why the Eu is being so intransigent about it. The border has been leaky ever since 1925, when it was drawn up. Theres thosuands of little back roads you can take to smuggle stuff over the border, no one has ever thought it a problem. Vradakars predecessor didnt think so, it only became a problem when Jukers poodle Vradakar started kicking up a fuss.
And quite honestly its insane. Considering 80% of Irish trade goes through UK, the irish being awkward about a deal simply doesnt make sense. Its entirely in Eires interest to come up with a deal and to dispose of the backstop.
Junkers and Barnier appear to have painted themselves into a corner, by overplaying thier hand, even despite the incompetance of Mays negotiating team, and now seem to be unable to back down for fear. presumably, of not wanting to lose face. This is the situation Boris will exploit to the full.

1. An FTA with the EU should indeed have been a piece of cake. Its in the Eu rules they must form friendly trade relations with its neighbours, but the EU seems only to apply the rules that suit it.
2. Well thats an opinion, and its per se somewhat justifible, considering the EU wants our £39B , and will be damaged more by no deal than us, and Merkel is pooping her pants because not only is the German economy tanking but Italy is threatening to quit the Euro.So he has a point
3. see above
4. An observation on negotiation. Davis has recently remarked he quit because May was bypassing his department and setting up her own deal, undermiing him. So, its fair comment
5.Raab was spot on. Little did he know May was setting up a deal that was BRINO, and undermining her entire nogiating team. and her own brexit Dept.
6. Hannah was a soft berexiteer back i n2015 whent here was a gaggle of MP's who thought they coud lstay in single market, because they were living uder the delusion the EU would be jolly good chaps and negotiate fairly in a the spirit of generosity. Little did he know. Farage had the measure of them even back then, he said it was nonsense.
Theres another old saying "A week is a long time in politics", Four years is a geological age.

The EU is just doing what it´s rules dictate..the same rules that the UK signed up to..
They have not changed their position.. it is the UK that want to change the rules... so why would the EU bother?
Boris and all the ministers signed off on TM`s agreement .. now he wants to change it..it is up to the PM to sort it out
After all, the buck stops with him..
I am sure the Irish people will be happy with your dismissal of their problem...
It all seems to be going well, doesn´t it?
..

Boris is not interested in a deal... he just wants out of Europe...
Doesn´t care how much it wrecks the UK (it won´t affect him and Mogg).. he just wants out..
All this posturing, saying leaving without a deal is a million to one, writing ridiculous letters to the EU... it´s all just headline grabbing... he just wants out at all costs.... (to others).
IMHO
