DISPOSING OF PREVIOUSLY OWNED SETTEES

We have just purchased a new set of settees and need to dispose of our old settees (one three sitter and one two sitter). Can anyone please advice as to how/where we can dispose of the. The settees are in a reasonable condition and we are not looking to sell them; if anyone can make use of them they are very welcome to collect them. We will be most grateful for any advice that members of the forum can proffer. Thank you.

Try charity shops like easycare horse centre in quesada

Lumsden Auctions. They collect for a small charge and will put it through the auction for 3 consecutive Saturdays. We put an old dilapidated one through and got 25€..!!!!

If you have large items to be disposed of, all you have to do is to ring the Municipal Centre of Ciudad Quesada on 965 725 722 on a Wednesday morning giving your address.
Note: They speak English.
Put the item/s outside on the pavement and it will be collected on the Thursday.
Please, pass this information on to your neighbours.

If they are in reasonable condition and you put them by the bins someone will take them away and give them a new life.

Not a good idea to leave by bins .As the bin rats will rip them open for the metal and leave the rest all over the path . ...
