Telfy charges

Telfy charges

In July I took out a package with Telfy for fibre, tv and mobiles at 57 euro per month. Within weeks my first bill came in at 87 Euro and now in less than a further month they have taken another 116 euro. I have s world box plugged into the modem which provides uk tv, could this really be the cause of these high bills? Also should bills not be same date each month?

If you email them with your bill enquiry they usually respond within a day, or certainly have done when I have had issues

What is frustrating with Telfy is I don’t get issued any invoice so it’s hard to keep track of what is going on when you just log on to your bank and see Telfy have just dipped in and taken some random amount!

I have been a customer of Telfy for 2 years now. They have a system whereby you log on to the Telfy website client area with a password that they provide and you will be able to see absolutely everything that is being charged on your bill. If you just ask them for this access when you speak to them it can all be sorted very quickly.

We have the same sort of contract. I have to pay for SMS messages, any internet ocer my allowance of 2mb. Silly question but are you signed into your own wifi?

Yes, checked with them today. No issues with data, house wifi or mobiles. Cost due to text and SMS which are not included. Also whilst international calls are included, these must be landline to uk landline and not landline or mobile to uk mobile.

If you go into Telfy they will normally recommend you change your tariff to a lower one which will save you on charges

I've always been impressed with Telfy but I didn't know about this until today:

I questioned the charges for their turn on turn of service which I've subscribed to since Easter - their response "If your connection is on between the 1st and 5th of the month (these are the days we send out the bills) you have to pay for the full month.
