I’d also appreciate updates on travel routes to airport as I’m due to fly in to check on storm damage.

I’ve just dropped husband at airport. My usual route via San Fulgencia towards Elche (CV860??) is closed so I went on AP7; which I hate because it takes ages. I could see that other side of motorway was closed so had to come back via N332; it’s taken me nearly 2 hours; but at least it’s open. All in all, wish i’d Put him in taxi !

Ap7 was opened this morning but with the breach at Almoradi , the water has reached the motorway , the central reservation is being monitored and could close suddenly …!!
Herredades back streets are now flooded and the water is creeping thro to the high street from the orange grove by the bridge over the m/way and at the rate we watched it will only be an hour or so before the two streams meet and flood the high street .
Further down towards Formentera the water is on the road in places , its seeping thro the orange groves , and if it continues will then flow down to Formentera high street …!!

A friend went this morning up to Dos Mares and said the bridge that was flooded along the motorway is now clear of water but full of mud and stinks to high heaven
