Leaking Solarium from Storms

Hoping my insurance covers it but the room on our solarium leaked and it also went down 1 floor into our bedroom light ....

Any good builders out there that I could get a quote from and see if my insurance company pay out ??

They say it's due to maintaince of the solarium which is your responsibility. My parents had a leaky roof, a proper roof not a flat one which come through the bathroom ceiling, the insurance wouldn't sort the roof out but paid 140 euros towards the repair of the ceiling. Apparently its up to you to check you haven't any cracks in your roof and to maintain roof and solarium.

Hmmmm but the room on my solarium has leaked and my bedroom is under that so I suppose it's not quite the solarium ???
Caixa have confirmed I'm covered I just need some quotes or they can send someone to sort .

Check with your buildings/contents insurance company, there should be a small amount of your premium which goes into a government fund (concorcio or similar) This fund protects both the insurance company & the insured against "acts of god" etc. They usually pay out with little fuss in times like this, however, you must put your claim in within seven days of the incident.
