The water in Quesada is perfectly safe. Some people state it tastes "funny" but we have no problems with it. I think it is just different.
However, it is quite hard. You can get a carbon filter fitted at the mains which will both soften and take some of the chlorinated taste out of it. A plumber should be able to fit it for around €100 and you change the filter each year for around €13.

Perfectly safe. However, vastly improved with a decent water filter.

If you live in a hard water area in the UK you probably won't notice the difference. If you're from a soft water area you will probably hate the taste of your tea/coffee & despair at the state of your kettle.

RO systems are the way to go if you can afford the space under your sink. Do get the booster pump version which is more efficient and uses less water....see https://www.bricodepot.es/productos/osmosis-inversa-5-etapas-con-bomba

We brought the booster pump version of this with us and it's worked very well....https://www.amazon.co.uk/Finerfilters-Domestic-Undersink-Fluoride-Drinking/dp/B01MXV9O3J/ref=pd_rhf_dp_s_pd_session_scf_0_7?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01MXV9O3J&pd_rd_r=VASVZW2850EQCPC36K6D&pd_rd_w=567Oo&pd_rd_wg=q1hl4&pf_rd_i=desktop-rhf&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_p=8323916444451154214&pf_rd_r=VASVZW2850EQCPC36K6D&pf_rd_s=desktop-rhf&pf_rd_t=40701&psc=1&refRID=VASVZW2850EQCPC36K6D&tag=tqs-21

I have drunk the tap water here for 23 years, no problem... It's hard water but they say calcium is good for you. It's certainly never done me any harm!
