Stolen Grass

Contractors have, for the past week, been fitting artificial grass alongside Calle Onda, towards the top of the hill. I thought it looked quite nice and tidy. Half of it was stolen last night, Saturday, so if you see anyone laying secondhand strips of about 600 mm approx, you know where they have come from, possibly.

I thought it also looked quite smart and provided a bit of kerb appeal to the roadside. What a shame that yet again we are blighted by people, ‘on the make’. I guess the council or whoever will think twice about trying to enhance the area in future.

Suprise Surprise! The Town Hall didn't really expect it to stay very long did they?

They’ve laid the concrete then put the grass on top. On closer inspection, there is evidence of a thin line of glue at the perimeter of the grass, no wonder it was easy to lift. In more ways than one.

Artificial grass, laid and predictably stolen.
Weeds everywhere, dustbins overflowing, roads cracking up.
This council is really on the ball.

Yes but the procession and fireworks display in Rojales last night was beautiful. At least some money has been invested in the townsfolk.
