You need to be a bit more specific. Lo Marabu covers all the west side and some of the south side of Quesada. It stretches from the salt lake and all the way up to Coopers complex which is way at the top of a hill.
If you specifically mean the bit along the Lemon Tree road at the south end of Lo Marabu then it didn't suffer after the last violent storms.
When it rains heavily here, most of the roads get rather flooded as the drains aren't particularly that good but I've not seen any properties flooded. It usually goes after 10 or 15 minutes.

Yes, I forgot to put in those without underbuilds. I went along the whole area two days after the big storm and couldn't see any properties affected but, of course, I couldn't see inside.

The Valencian Government made a fund available to all those affected by the floods which was supposed to have been paid immediately. It was €1500 to start with and up to €4500 in some cases and was to allow for replacing furniture or renting somewhere if the property was uninhabitable.
It was claimed from the town halls and had nothing to do with the consortium or insurance claims and was a supplement to cover the initial mayhem.
Claims were to be made by 14th October
Dedicated offices to make the claims have been set up in eight town halls across the Baja Vega region; In Orihuela, Benferri, Dolores, Pilar de la Horadada, Almoradí, Bigastro, Catral and Callosa de Segura.
To apply, you must have proof that you are resident in the property affected during the storm and subsequent flooding, either with the property deeds or a valid rental contract.

Shocking, isn't it? I thought it was supposed to be an immediate fund to help out but it appears to be held up somewhere.
I did read that some 400 people (which included businesses affected) had received payments but I've yet so hear of anyone affected getting in.
Hopefully they have just been waiting for the cut-off date and will start paying out soon but seems a bit late for some people.
